FIELD: man-powered flying vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed flying vehicle includes air balloon, mechanical drive, aerodynamic propulsor and nacelle. Lifting force of air balloon is more than half but no more than total mass of flying vehicle and pilot. Attitude-control propulsor is designed as two-rotor helicopter. Lever-type ratchet drives of rotors are separate for right and left hands. Provision is made for reversing rotor rotation. Pilot is seated in nacelle. Horizontal force is created by misalignment of axis of rotation of rotor at shifting the ballast.
EFFECT: extended capabilities of flight.
