FIELD: metallurgy; preparation of briquettes made from iron and steel chips containing oil emulsion admixtures for melting.
SUBSTANCE: proposed continuous furnace includes working space with loading and unloading ports, lower fire-boxes, combustion product discharge passages, burners, air supply collector and conveyer. Furnace is provided with fire-boxes located on roof on loading and unloading side and connected with roof passages and lower fire-boxes are connected with working space by recirculating passages and are provided with air intakes.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability; increased productivity; protection of surrounding medium against complete combustion of oil-containing admixtures; complete neutralization of agents.
