FIELD: liquid spraying systems, particularly for fire fighting and manufacturing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: fire-extinguishing device comprises vessel for fire-extinguishing liquid, high-pressure liquid delivery system and liquid atomizer connected to vessel by feed pipeline. Liquid atomizer has nozzle with profiled channel, cylindrical chamber and flow swirler. One end of the cylindrical chamber is connected to nozzle inlet. Swirler is installed upstream of the second end of cylindrical chamber and has at least three guiding members. Guiding members are uniformly distributed over azimuth of cylindrical chamber cross-section. Edges of the nearest guiding members define through orifices having projection onto cylindrical chamber cross-section. Diaphragm is installed upstream of the swirler. Diaphragm has orifices aligned with swirler ones. Diaphragm may perform azimuthal displacement relative axis of cylindrical chamber symmetry to change positional relationship between diaphragm orifices and swirler ones.
EFFECT: provision of spray cone change along with maintaining liquid flow rate, liquid throw range and uniform droplet size distribution through the liquid flow.
