FIELD: fire-fighting, particularly fixed and mobile fire-extinguishing devices using aqueous foam for fire extinguisment.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises barrel with through axisymmetric channel, liquid supply pipe, which supplies liquid into through channel, nozzle installed at end barrel part. Through channel includes conical or conoid inlet section converging in flow direction and cylindrical outlet section. Device also comprises foam generation solution inlet means, which injects foam generation solution into through barrel channel, as well as liquid and foam generation solution mixture flow stabilizer. Expansion chamber is formed in through channel between foam generation solution inlet means and the stabilizer. At least four guiding members made as plates profiled in liquid flow direction and axisymmetric tubular guiding member are installed in the expansion chamber. End parts of the guiding members facing axis of expansion chamber symmetry are connected to outer surface of guiding tube coaxially arranged in the expansion chamber. Maximal diameter dmax and minimal diameter dmin of inlet through nozzle channel section, as well as length lcyl of outlet cylindrical through channel section are selected from the following conditions: 2≤dmax/dmin≤14; dmax=Dch; dmin=dcyl; lcyl=(2÷10)dcyl, where Dch - diameter of expansion chamber formed in through barrel chamber, dcyl - diameter of outlet through nozzle channel section. Inner diameter of guiding tube Dt is selected from 0.1Dch≤Dt≤0.4Dch. Length lt of guiding tube is preferably selected from profiled plate length lp, wherein lt=lp(3÷5)Dt.
EFFECT: increased shot distance and velocity of generated foam jet.
