Abstract RU 2258568 C1

FIELD: liquid spraying equipment, particularly for fire-fighting and processing.

SUBSTANCE: sprayer comprises nozzle with channel having outlet cylindrical part, plate with orifice coaxial with cylindrical channel part. Means for plate movement in axial direction relative end nozzle surface is made as cylindrical body arranged coaxially to nozzle. Inner body diameter exceeds that of outlet cylindrical channel part. One end body part is connected with the nozzle through of at least one sealing member providing air-tight connection between body and nozzle upon axial body movement relative the nozzle. Connected to opposite body end part is plate forming end body side. Plate orifice diameter D is selected from d≤D≤1.3d, where d is outlet cylindrical channel part diameter. Plate thickness at orifice edges does not exceed 3d. In accordance with preferred sprayer embodiment maximal distance from end nozzle surface to plate defined by axial body displacement does not exceed 5d and plate orifice diameter D is defined as d≤D≤1.1d. Outlet cylindrical channel part length is (1-5)d. Nozzle channel may have convergent conical or conoidal inlet part. Sprayer may have cylindrical chamber communicating with nozzle inlet and arranged coaxially to nozzle channel. Cylindrical chamber length is 5-20 diameters of inlet nozzle channel orifice, diameter thereof is equal to inlet nozzle channel orifice diameter.

EFFECT: possibility to generate droplet compact or finely-dispersed flows with reduced energy losses, increased intensity and uniformity of gas-and-droplet dispersion over flow section.
