FIELD: manufacture of metallic structures by means of resistance welding.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of calculating parameters of welding mode at deciding equation system at allowance ±5% depending upon heat conductivity, bulk heat capacity, specific electric resistance and limit strength of welded metal; determining electrode compression effort depending upon thickness value of joined parts for providing high quality welded spot while taking into account coefficients related to material of joined parts.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of welded joints due to reduced costs for experimental determination of parameters of welding mode.
