FIELD: production of glass containers.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to production of glass containers, in particular, to a plunger unit used in a machine with an individual section. The invention allows to improve the plunger unit of the machine forming the glass containers. The plunger unit is intended for extrusion of drops of glass for production of the hollow items contains: the primary propulsion device having an elongated element with a free end, which is intended for transmission of a translational motion to the plunger connected without the help of a threading with the indicated free end of the elongated element; the ring overlapping the free end of the elongated element; a split ring butt-joined, which is rigidly mounted in relation to the plunger and the elongated element along its longitudinal central axis. The ring is mounted rigidly in respect to the longitudinal central axis of the elongated element.
EFFECT: the invention ensures improvement of the plunger unit of the machine forming the glass containers.
