FIELD: explosives.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides gunpowder consisting of spheroidally-shaped grains with graphite surface containing pyroxylin with volume concentration of nitrogen at least 212 ml/g, nitroglycerin, diphenylamine, Centralite, ethyl acetate, graphite, and water. Ratio of thickness of gunpowder grain burning arch to gunpowder grain thickness is within a range of 0.273-0.420, initial specific surface of grain is 230-290 cm2/g, and combustion heat 1165-1210 kcal/kg. Gunpowder is appropriate for cartridges with caliber 6.8 x 11 mm.
EFFECT: enhanced power and density of ultimately mixed gunpowder.
