FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to extraction of methanol from the broad fraction of (C1-C6)-hydrocarbons. Methanol is used for gas scrubbing and for prevention choking up transporting lines and equipment. Method for separation of the broad fraction of low-boiling (C1-C6)-hydrocarbons comprising methyl alcohol is carried out by rectification in some rectifying columns designated for isolation of ethane-propane, propane, isobutene, butane, iso-pentane, pentane and hexane fractions and for removing methyl alcohol as its an aqueous solution. Methyl alcohol is removed additionally from propane fraction by its washing out with water that is fed by countercurrent at contact time 0.5-4.0 h and in the content of methyl alcohol in an aqueous solution to be removed from 4.5 to 7.0 wt.-%. Prepared methyl alcohol aqueous solution is fed for strengthening by rectification procedure. Method provides enhancement of the extraction degree of methyl alcohol from the low-boiling hydrocarbons fraction and preparing propane fraction of the high quality.
