FIELD: shoe industry, in particular, manufacture of shoes with moisture-impermeable and vapor permeable soles.
SUBSTANCE: sole has bottom manufactured from leather or similar material, and its upper zone is covered at least partly with membrane made from material, which is vapor-permeable and water-tight. Membrane is hermetically joined in its peripheral zones to bottom. Bottom has through holes into which inserts are hermetically introduced. Inserts are made from plastic, such as rubber or similar material, and equipped with through holes.
EFFECT: additionally improved vapor-permeability of sole manufactured from leather or like material, and provision for rendering required water-tightness to sole.
