FIELD: methods for furniture decoration.
SUBSTANCE: method involves creating furniture piece; during manufacture of furniture piece, applying additional faceplate rather than decorative pattern onto furniture piece outer surface; applying flat or bulky decorative pattern onto outer surface of faceplate. Faceplate is detachably applied to furniture piece surface in order to be readily replaced with another additional faceplate with other flat or bulky decorative pattern, said replacement being performed, if necessary, during utilization of said piece of furniture.
EFFECT: quick and high-quality changing of decorative finishing of piece of furniture in compliance with user's changing aesthetic tastes without necessity for removal of said piece of furniture from usage.
