FIELD: vacuum cleaner.

SUBSTANCE: turbine type brush for vacuum cleaner includes housing of brush having upper casing and lower casing. The last includes suction slit through which air is sucked from cleaned surface. Brush also includes stirring unit having bristles fastened at predetermined intervals; turbine unit mounted with possibility of rotation in lower casing and driven to rotation by means of air sucked to turbine brush by action of suction force created in vacuum cleaner; force transmission unit for rotating stirring unit together with turbine unit. In order to clean surfaces, for example of blankets or other cloth materials, suction slit of lower casing is provided with large number of ribs preventing suction of blanket or other cloth into housing of brush due to action of suction force created in vacuum cleaner. Bristles come to contact with cleaned surface passing through (restricted by ribs) windows of suction slit. Turbine brush allows to clean surfaces of non-fixed materials such as surfaces of blankets or clothes due to preventing suction of blanket or cloth inside brush. Upper casing is made, preferably of transparent material.
