INHAUSTING UNIT AND VACUUM CLEANER, CONTAINING MENTIONED UNIT Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A47L9/04

Abstract RU 2361502 C1

FIELD: items of private use.

SUBSTANCE: inhausting unit and vacuum cleaner containing it provided for surface treatment. Inhausting unit contains casing allowing suction port, by which dust is inhausted from treated surface, drum brush, with ability of rotation in casing and on outer surface of which there are located bristle, providing dust sweep from treated surface. Nearby drum brush it is located rib, installed in casing with providing of being of its one end in contact to bristle and separation of dust from it during drum brush rotation. Bristles are engaged with rib inclined for prevention of drum brush rotation when casing is dragged away in user direction. Bristles are located on drum brush inclined relative to radial direction. Rib is implemented in the form of rectangular disk and located lengthwise drum brush parallel to it so that it fills space between casing and drum brush for prevention of noise outside withdrawal from inhausting unit, which is distributed backwards from main body of vacuum cleaner to rib. Vacuum cleaner contains main body, where it is created inhausting effort, inhausting unit, where it is created inhausting effort from main body of vacuum cleaner and which taking in air, containing mud, from the treated surface, and extension appliance, by which inhausting is directed from main body of vacuum cleaner to inhausting unit. At movement forward of inhausting unit by user drum brush rotates and treats surface against dust. Additionally brush bristles knocks together with bottom end of rib, whereupon dust is separated from them. During the movement of inhausting unit backwards rib interacts to bristles so that it prevents brush rotation, and its bristles at sliding motion by treated surface efficiently sweeps from it dust and hairs.

EFFECT: noise reduction and surface treatment effectiveness increase.
