FIELD: manufacture of electrodes for welding carbon steels.
SUBSTANCE: coating includes next relation of components, mass. %: ilmenite concentrate, 37 -39; cellulose, 1.5 -2.0; wollastonite, 37 =39; ferrosilicomanganese, 15.0 - 16.6; magnesite, 5 -9. Coating provided lowered quantity of harmful impurities such as sulfur and phosphorus in surfaced metal.
EFFECT: enhanced welding properties, improved mechanical properties of electrode.
