FIELD: building materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to binding agents. Binding agent comprises roasted mixture of magnesium-containing carbonate rocks with clay in their ratio = (3-9):1, waste in manufacturing the metallurgic concern representing blast furnace granulated slag of fractions 0.01-0.08 mm as a mineral additive, and magnesium sulfate additionally in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: indicated mixture of magnesium-containing carbonate rocks with clay, 60-85; indicated blast furnace granulated slag, 10-30, and magnesium sulfate, 5-10. Binding agent can comprise waste in chemical manufacturing PO "Kchimprom" of Novocheboksarsk city. Invention can be used in preparing dry building mixtures, building solutions and concretes and other building materials also containing binding substances. Invention provides enhancing strength of binding agent based on delayed hydration of MgO.
