FIELD: building materials.

SUBSTANCE: method for preparing sulfur-bitumen binding agent involves mixing melts of preliminary modified sulfur and bitumen wherein sulfur is bound preliminary with mixture of unsaturated fatty acids - flotation asphalt in the ratios sulfur : flotation asphalt, wt.-%: (30:70)-(60:40) with preparing organic polysulfides and indicated melts are mixed in the following ratio of components, wt.-% preliminary modified sulfur : organic polysulfides, 20-80; bitumen, 20-80. The proposed binding agent is used in technology for producing hot asphalt-concrete used in making car road covers, aerodromes and so on. Invention provides enhancing deformability properties of sulfur-bitumen binding agents and reducing amount of evolving hydrogen sulfide in their processing.
