FIELD: linen ironing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: ironing board has base, vertical telescopic post fixed on base, and cover closed with soft material and resting upon post. Cover may be collapsed along two lines. Half of chess board is provided on lower surface of each drop part of cover, and drawers for chess pieces are secured on lower surface of each cover part rigidly fixed on post. Drawers are equipped with pivotal plates horizontally arranged in their upper parts and adapted for accommodation of iron or linen thereon.

EFFECT: wider operational capabilities of ironing board owing to conversion thereof into multifunctional furniture object.
