FIELD: construction, particularly building reconstruction.

SUBSTANCE: method of building reconstruction by foundation and walls reinforcement involves constructing additional foundation along the full outer and inner perimeters of existent one and in contact with it; erecting vertical columns on foundation so that the columns extend along building walls and located between windows, wherein column height is equal or more than building height; arranging floor structure on projected parts of the columns; erecting at least one additional story on the floor structure; connecting upper column parts with arch structures; fastening lift well blocks or sections to one or several columns; connecting walls to the columns by tie members extending through building walls and column bodies.

EFFECT: increased building height.
