FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: single-screw pump comprises rotor and stator, suction and delivery branch pipes, and axial passage made in the rotor. The face of the rotor is provided with a bore that is connected with the space of the suction branch pipe through a passage. The bore receives safety valve whose sleeve is sealed in the bore and comprises spring with a locking member interposed between movable seat and bearing bushing. The seat is locked against movements in the axial direction, e.g., with a split ring. The sleeve locator is mounted at the rotor exit.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability and simplified structure.
