FIELD: medicine; medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out instrumental stricture formation with puncture access to the great saphenous vein lumen in the vicinity of its anastomosis and preparation obturation of vein bloodstream distally far from its mouth. Puncture access is carried out by making incision near the medial malleolus. Device has transporter and parting endovascular clip having two overlapping wire branches manufactured from superelastic alloy based on titanium nickelide. The branches are arranged as V-shaped structure connected with C-shaped crossbar allowing bending movements. Free ends of the branches have curl-shaped fixing members. The transporter is designed as endovascular catheter having pusher and lumen enough for placing the clip with closed branches. Lengths of the branches are different from each other by 1.0-1.5 times single curl-shaped member diameter.
EFFECT: wide range of functional applications.
