FIELD: production of devices for application of powder coatings.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to device for application of dry powdered paints by a tribokinetic method on a being painted item. The technical problem of the invention is the increased productivity of the device for application of paint and improvement of quality of coating on an item. For this purpose the device for application of dry powdered paints by a tribokinetic method contains: a body with a channel for a compressed air delivery; a regulator of the delivered air pressure; a cut-out switch of air delivery; a trunk connected to the body and used for a powdered paint loading by an electric charge consisting of an external dielectric pipe and a dielectric internal rod with a cone-shaped deflector on its free end. The external dielectric pipe and the dielectric internal rod ensure formation of a ring-type channel for the air-powder mixture passing through it, as well as a located in the body channel for feeding of the powdered paint, a fastening of grounding. The device contains a small tank with a breathing valve for a powdered paint connected with the channel of the paint feeding in the body of the device, as well as a device to control consumption of the paint fed from the tank. The internal rod is placed coaxially with the channel for the compressed air delivery and in the internal rod from the side of the compressed air feeding channel there are an ejector channel located coaxially with the compressed air feeding channel in the body and at least one spraying channel. The spraying channel links the ejector port to the ring-type channel of the trunk, and is placed at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the internal rod. An ejection channel of the rod and the channel for the compressed air delivery in the body form an ejector for intake of the powdered paint particles from the channel of the powdered paint feeding. Thus, the offered device has an increased productivity of application of the paint and an improved quality of a coating on an item due to improved withdrawal of a negative charge from the components of the device. The invention allows to decline the pressure of the air in the air delivery system and to increase the speed of the powdered paint particles inside the annular gap of the trunk due to reduction of the local resistances in the channels of the device and also due to a decrease of resistance of the nozzle.

EFFECT: the invention ensures an increased productivity of the device for application of paints on the items and improvement of quality of coatings.
