BLOCKAGE BREAKING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: ice-breaking technique; devices for elimination of ice blockages; prevention of water flood in rivers.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes piercing anchor, reel with cable whose end is secured on piercing anchor, truck tractor which carries cable reel and throwing gun loaded with piercing anchor having positive stability. End of cable is secured on piercing anchor through safety member. Piercing anchor palms are foldable and their lower ends are articulated to fore end of piercing anchor and upper ends are spring-loaded and provided with flexible guys for ensuring rigidity of piercing anchor at release of upper ends of palms from piercing anchor and tension of cable. Palms are kept pressed to piercing anchor by means of detachable washer whose outer diameter exceeds diameter of piercing anchor; said washer is supported by brackets and is secured on piercing anchor due to spring releasing forces.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of breaking blockages in rivers due to down-stream transportation of separate sections by truck tractor.
