FIELD: protection of objects from rodents, preferably rats and mice, may be used at food-processing enterprises and in municipal engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves using closed trap and devices for providing physical action upon rodents. Low-volume closed trap has at least one device adapted for providing physical action upon rodents and located within closed trap. Trap is further provided with unit for inhibiting exit of rodent from trap and unit for actuating device providing physical action upon rodent. Said units bring rodent to shock state provoking release by said rodent of "fear ferment", which, in turn, provokes panic state among rodent's "relatives" causing them to escape from zone under protection.
EFFECT: reduced cost and increased efficiency in protecting of object.
