LINEN DRYING HANGER Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, linen drying equipment.

SUBSTANCE: linen drying hanger has linen frame, flexible twine binders and lifting device. Linen frame comprises spacer pipes and two tubular end cross-pieces equipped with horizontal apertures arranged in equally spaced relation from end of each pipe. Cylindrical bosses having diameter equal to inner diameter of pipes are fixed in two horizontal apertures. Each of bosses is made integral with bolt provided with helical groove and is attached to rectangular transverse pipe by means of said bolt. Tubular bushings inserted into other horizontal apertures of larger diameter are provided with supporting shoulders positioned in the vicinity of outer side of rectangular pipe and are adapted for preliminary passage of twine and fastening of its ends. Linen frame is hung on two twines passed with their one ends through upper aperture with eye ring. Twines are bound in corners of linen frame and passed through pulleys fixed on spindles in openings of double-eyelet brackets secured on ceiling. Pins with widened conical heads are fixed on wall or on door frames in pairs in accordance with level of arrangement of linen frame. Doubled twines are passed through pulleys at sides adjoining pins with widened conical heads.
