FIELD: hydraulic building, particularly to build fish passes adapted to permit fish passage through support structures to spawning and meadow areas.
SUBSTANCE: method involves installing transversal partitions with swimming-in orifices along the full fish pass length so that partitions span the full fish pass width, with the use of guiding slots formed in fish pass sides and transversal guides made as horizontal axes and inserted in the slots, wherein partitions are made as perforated webs connected to guides; arranging the partitions in predetermined positions at an angle to direction of flow moving through fish pass to form fish pass chamber; supplying water from upper pool with working flow rate to attract fish from lower pool by opening upper gate adapted to close fish pass; installing existent partitions by moving them upwards from depressions made in fish pass ground formed along fish pass length, wherein lower partition parts are moved inside additional fish pass guides and fixed to install partitions in predetermined positions.
EFFECT: possibility to convert fish-passing sluice into fish pass and vice versa, possibility to create effective conditions for passing fish along fish pass length during environment parameter change.
