FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed lubrication system of internal combustion engine contains oil sump, oil pump with oil intake strainer and pressure branch pipe, main oil line with oil filter and partial-flow main oil line with fine oil filter, both connected with pressure branch pipe. Partial-flow main oil line is furnished with device to control flow capacity within 0.1-5% of flow capacity of main oil line, and output of fine oil filter is connected with oil sump. Oil is heated on section of oil line equipped with oil electric heater and it passes into space of fine oil filter. Oil filter has housing with coaxial coarse and fine cleaning filtering elements, cover with peripheral inlet holes and central outlet hole. Coarse filtering elements consists of two concentrically arranged layers of filtering material, and fine filtering element is made of filler material placed between two layers of coarse filtering elements consisting of mixture of finely divided material with possibility of adsorption interaction with gum, for instance, mineral material of "bleaching earth" type, and drain grains. Filtering material of each layer of coarse filtering elements is made of corrugated paper or cardboard, being secured between two perforated cylinders, or is made of cotton fiber wound on perforated cylinder.
EFFECT: improved quality of oil cleaning by removing gums and efficiency of cleaning from mechanical impurities, increased service life of internal combustion engine of vehicle.
