FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: dynamics of increase in dynamic pressure in central oil main line is measured without engine breaking down, ICE crankshaft rpm is determined corresponding to maximum dynamic pressure and obtained rpm is compared with reference magnitude. Dynamic pressure in central oil main line is measured when ICE crankshaft rpm varying from tolerable minimum to maximum magnitude. ICE crankshaft reference rpm corresponding to maximum dynamic pressure is determined for technically sound engine. At lower ICE crankshaft rpm corresponding to maximum dynamic pressure, oil header clogging is smaller.
EFFECT: possibility to estimate oil header clogging without engine breaking down and higher accuracy of determining availability index of product.
