FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: reduction gear comprises housing (2) which receives at least one first stage of reduction (3) and one second stage of reduction (4). Second stage (4) has cylindrical gear wheels (5) and (6) provided with driving input and output shafts (8) and (7) having parallel axes. Driving shaft (8) of second stage (4) is hollow and receives coaxial driving input shaft (17) of first stage (3). First stage of reduction (3) is mounted at one end of hollow shaft (8) that is mounted away from engine (15). First stage of reduction (3) has an epicycloid reduction gear with carrier (20) that caries a number of planet gears (19) which engage gearing rim (21) and solar gear wheel (18). The driving shafts of first (17) and second (8) of reduction stages are interconnected to rotate together with the gear wheel and carrier, respectively, to transmit rotation from first (3) to second (4) of reduction stages. Gearing rim 21 defines a part of housing (2) and partially receives epicycloid reduction gear.
EFFECT: decreased sizes and weight.
