FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes affecting rock and its destruction by rotary indenter, measuring power of acoustic oscillations in face-adjacent zone in frequencies range 7-20 kHz - WA and speed of relative movement of indenter and rock - vp. in process of destruction of rock total power, realized during destruction of rock PA is measured, abrasiveness coefficients of rock are measured: specific acoustic energy WAV, produced during destruction, by division of power of acoustic oscillations WA on speed of relative movement of indenter and rock; energy distribution coefficient Kp by dividing power of acoustic oscillations WA on power PA, limits WAV and Kp for rock groups are set, characterized by certain abrasive effect on rock-destroying tool, related to its resource and wear type, by comparing industrial data of tool processing from different rocks, abrasiveness of rock is determined by relating it to appropriate group of abrasiveness in accordance to measured values WAV and Kp if both values concurrently are within set limits.
EFFECT: higher precision, higher durability, higher efficiency, broader functional capabilities.
