FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: diamond drill bit comprises a body and a diamond-containing matrix with impregnated three-staged and reaming layers, collars at the end and flushing windows in each stage of the impregnated layer communicating with the side external and internal cylindrical channels. Rational diameter of a single-point diamond in each stage of the impregnated layer of the matrix is determined by rated relation depending on physical and mechanical properties of drilled rocks. Besides, along the external and internal side parts of the matrix the gaps between diamonds of the reaming layer are evenly reinforced with particles of superhard nanomaterial, linear dimensions of which make 50÷150 nanometres, and side external and internal cylindrical channels of the drill bit at least in the first stage of the impregnated layer of the matrix, communicate with each other by additional channels, width of which makes (0.6÷0.8) of the cylindrical channel diameter, and the depth is equal to the height of the matrix collar.
EFFECT: improved operational resistance of the diamond drill bit and mechanical speed of drilling.
