FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: crown bit comprises a body and a diamond-containing matrix separated with washing grooves into sectors reinforced with outer and inner gage and volume diamonds. The feature of the proposed crown bit is the layout of abrasive material arrangement in a reservoir located inside the matrix and arranged at least with one bushing to discharge an abrasive material, at the same time the output part of the bushing in the initial position is covered with a matrix material. The outer surface of the reservoir for an abrasive material may have a biconical shape, and its upper part may be equipped with a pin for rigid connection with the body. The output part of bushings at different sectors may be arranged at a different distance from the matrix end.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of crown bit operation.
