FIELD: barrels of plastics material, namely sleeve type barrels or barrels with lids made as one-layer or multi-layer container by means of extrusion process with inflation.
SUBSTANCE: in body of barrel pieces of electrically conducting synthetic material are integrated; said pieces form electric connections between inner surface and outer surface of barrel body. Electrically conducting pieces are formed as stripes whose thickness corresponds to thickness of barrel body. Method of making barrel comprises steps of co-extrusion of multi-layer tubular blank and inflation shaping of barrel body blank in inflation mold; making tubular blank of insulation material with electrically conducting stripes distributed along circle. Extrusion process is performed continuously or discretely. According to second variant of invention, tubular material at outlet of extrusion head is uniformly divided along circle. Into intervals between divisions electrically conducting synthetic material is injected for forming stripes to be uniformly welded with tubular blank. Barrels according to invention may be used as containers for hazard materials, in explosion-hazard rooms.
EFFECT: lowered production expenses, simplified process of making barrels.
