FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes heat treatment of n-amount of circular articles secured on strut of seating unit. Seating unit is placed in heating chamber together with circular articles; heating chamber is filled with acid-free medium. Heat treatment of articles made from martensitic aging steel is performed by means of hardening cycles or aging and cooling in chamber or outside it. Seating unit for heat treatment of circular articles is provided with housing having cover and may be placed in heating chamber. Housing has base and strut in form of pipe connected by means of permanent joint. Strut is used for placing n-amount of bushes with brackets rigidly secured on each of them and with flats for placing the circular articles. Opposite end faces of each bush are provided with slots and mounting members for mounting the brackets in shifted position. Base is provided with projection on which lower bush is secured by means of slot.

EFFECT: enhanced stability of geometric sizes at retained level of mechanical properties.
