FIELD: measuring engineering.
SUBSTANCE: differential string accelerometer has the sensor made of a string made of molybdenum alloy, temperature compensating stack of plates which is connected in the circuit of the sensor, and separating groove at the site of securing the sensor to the housing. The method comprises making flat string from the MP-47 wire, grinding the fastening unit of the string in two mutually perpendicular planes just before setting the string, and welding the fastening units by laser after the setting the string .
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measuring.
