FIELD: engineering of inertial navigation devices.

SUBSTANCE: string accelerometer contains body, inertia mass and a string. Ends of string are held in inertia mass and embedding assembly, which is capable of moving along the body along mutually fit surfaces. Also, surface of body in area of contact with embedding assembly is made in form of cylindrical surface, radius and center of which coincide with radius and rotation center of end section of spring.

EFFECT: prevention of relative displacement of string embedding during movement of embedding assembly.
