FIELD: equipment for collecting and transportation of cut woody-brush vegetation for clearing of lands from brush and scrub forest in agriculture, forestry and amelioration.
SUBSTANCE: picker has compacting combs driven by free end of hydraulic cylinder stem formed as hemisphere. Each compacting comb is equipped with safety device including roller, levers and flexible binders. Rollers are pivotally fixed on levers and are equipped with grooves of semi-circular section for cooperation with hydraulic cylinder stem. Return springs of compacting combs are mounted on picker frame. Additional gathering teeth are mounted in lower part of suspension between picking teeth. Electric switches located on frame are adapted for interrupting movement of stem upon cooperation thereof with safety device rollers.
EFFECT: increased efficiency by increasing volume of gripped vegetation through compaction thereof, enhanced reliability in operation and improved quality of works performed.
