SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, in particular, the present invention relates to devices and methods for a body piercing tool with a manual disposable cartridge. The body piercing tool cartridge consists of the main body, a pin holder, and a clamp. The main body has a thumb grip portion along the back surface. The pin holder supports the pin and is slidably connected to the pin holder guide inside the main body. The clamp is slidably connected to the main body by a clamp guide. The clamp guide is parallel to the pin holder guide. The clamp supports the body piercing support platform with a pin when the clamp and the main body are moved together along the clamp guide. The clamp includes a finger grip section located below and opposite the support platform and opposite the thumb grip section of the main body. The clamp contains a stiffener located behind the finger grip section and said stiffener is located in an additional guide between the main body and the clamp. The method of piercing a body part includes the steps of positioning a body part at a clamp support platform, the clamp being slidably connected to the main body by a clamp guide and to the body part between the clamp and a pin held in the pin holder and slidably connected to the pin holder guide inside the main body, parallel to the clamp guide; positioning one or more fingers of the user's hand on a finger grip portion below and opposite the grip support platform and having a stiffener located downstream of the finger grip portion aligned parallel to the grip guide, the bracing member being located in an additional guide between the main body and the grip; placing the user's thumb on the thumb grip portion along the back surface of the main body; and applying pressure between the thumb and one or more fingers to move the clamp and the main body together along the clamp guide such that the pin pierces a portion of the body at the clamp support platform.

EFFECT: use of the inventions ensures simple, accurate, repeatable and safe body piercing.
