FIELD: medicine; optical instruments for taking preventive measures and curing eye diseases.
SUBSTANCE: goggles for preventive treatment for acquired short sight have spherical-prismatic lenses mounted in frame of goggles. Edge of one lens turned to nose support is disposed at angle α1=180° +-90° up or down from horizontal axis and edge of other lens turned to nose support is disposed at angle α2=0°+-90° up or down from horizontal axis. In this case vertex-base lines of prisms are parallel to each other; bases of prisms are disposed at internal quadrants and lenses themselves are disposed in universal frame for rotation around optical axis with pitch of 0-15° between meridians. Degree of relaxation of ciliary muscle is improved.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of treatment; higher level of adaptability of oculomotoris muscle.
