FIELD: devices for separation of suspensions in field of centrifugal forces; food-processing and chemical industries.
SUBSTANCE: proposed centrifuge has rotor with ports for discharge of sediment and effluent, supply branch pipe and worm feeder made in form of hollow drum with helical guide having internal passage where radial partitions are mounted perpendicularly relative to its walls which are used for dividing of suspension into several flows; novelty of invention consists in form of radial partitions having shape of curve obtained through approximation of broken line described in equation.
EFFECT: improved quality of separation of suspension; reduced friction of particles against partitions.
