FIELD: electromechanical machining.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises applying electroinsulating coating on the surface of metallic structure, setting uninsulated tool-electrode with a spaced relation, setting the metallic structure into the bath, the space between the surface of the metallic structure and tool -electrode being filled with the electroconducting fluid, separating the metallic structure by means of anode dissolving of the metal. The coating is applied on both side of the trajectory of the cutter for making the first and subsequent hollows on the surface of the metallic structure. The electrically insulated coating can be made of the strips of polyethylene film.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of cutting and expanded functional capabilities.
