Abstract RU 2087274 C1

FIELD: reworking large metal structures, for example, ship hulls and aircraft. SUBSTANCE: stress concentrator is formed over line of separation of metal structure using corrosion notch for the purpose. Bare metal conductor used as tool is placed inside channel formed at area of cut. Channel is used filled with electrolyte, after which tool is connected to negative terminal and metal structure is connected to positive terminal of current source. Then metal structure is acted on by working tools which created this mechanical stresses initiating crack in the cut. Separation is made over this crack. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 12 dwg
