FIELD: nuclear engineering.
SUBSTANCE: the proposed tank for substance storage and transport includes case, gasket and mechanism for compression the cover to gasket. The compression mechanism is located in the volume, produced by ring slots, one of which is fulfilled in the case and the other - in the cover. One of the surfaces of the cover ring slot is shaped by a cylinder, the axis of which coincides with the cover axis. The mechanism of cover compression to the gasket consists of the following parts: the pressure element, getting into the case ring slot; supporting member, located between the compression member and cover; the fastening parts, installed in the supporting member and cover. Other surface of the cover ring slot has conical shape. The case ring slot and also supporting member have at least one conical surface. The pressure member has at least three conical surfaces. The pressure and supporting members are carried out from separate segments with gaps between them. The segments of the pressure member interact with the case, cover and pressing member through conical surfaces. The segments of the supporting member interact with the cover through cylindrical surface.
EFFECT: enhanced safety of radioactive substance transport.
