SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear industry, in particular, to transportation of spent nuclear fuel of nuclear reactors for processing. Transport package for transportation and storage of liquid spent nuclear fuel (LSNF) comprises a container having a housing in which a container for radioactive material is installed, an inner and an outer cover with fastening and sealing means, damper installed on outer side of container. Container body is made thickened from corrosion-resistant steel, the container is made in the form of a cup from corrosion-resistant steel, equipped with fuel and gas nozzles, and fixed in the container against movement by an inner cover and a pin on the side surface of the container entering the groove of the inner surface of the body, the damper is made of two attached compartments and is installed along the entire lateral and end surface of the container.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to ensure safety requirements of personnel when performing work on loading (unloading) of LSNF in shipping packaging set.
