TRANSPARENT GLAZE Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: building industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention proposes transparent glaze in manufacturing materials used in building industry, in particular, for covering articles for decorative, utilitarian and household designation, ceramic tiles. Transparent glaze comprises SiO₂, Al₂O₃, B₂O₃, CaO, MgO, Na₂O, K₂O, Fe₂O₃ and TiO₂ in the following content of components, wt.-%: SiO₂, 50.1-67.0; Al₂O₃, 2.2-2.7; B₂O₃, 8.0-20.0; CaO, 1.5-8.2; MgO, 1.0-8.0; Na₂O, 4.2-9.3; K₂O, 0.5-9.30; Fe₂O₃, 0.15-0,25, and TiO₂, 0.1-4.0. Glaze shows high spreading capacity and absence of crackle.

EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of glaze.
