SUBSTANCE: invention provides a method for preparation of organosilylalkyl-polysulfanes of general formula (R¹R²R³SiR⁴)₂S_x (I), wherein R¹,^{R2, R3, identical or different, represent branched or unbranched alkyl and/or alkoxy groups with 1-8 chain carbon atoms, aryl residues, provided that at least one of R1,R2, R3 represents alkoxy group; R4 represents C₁-C₈-alkylene group; and x=2-6, which consists in reaction of corresponding organosilylalkyl halide with anhydrous or essentially anhydrous ionic sulfide and elementary sulfur. The latter is preliminarily placed in polar organic solvent together with organosilylalkyl halide and then ionic sulfide is added to resulting suspension.}
