SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular, to machines for shutting of the pig-iron tap holes of the blast furnaces. The machine for shutting of a pig-iron tap hole of a blast furnace contains a foundation plate with a terminal bay rigidly mounted on it, on which there is a slewing console mounted on the bearings and the axis of the console is inclined in respect to a vertical line in direction to the tap hole and it is pivotally connected with a mechanism of a tapping hole mix molding, which using a traction regulated in length is pivotally connected with a lever fastened on a bracket fixed to the terminal bay forming with the console a kinematically closed circuit. The lever is made sectional, with a possibility to change and fix its length and coupled to a bracket by a connection unit ensuring a discrete and fixed turning of the lever in respect to the stationary axis of the bracket with a capability to provide of conservation of the instantaneous center of rates at a change of an inclination angle of the console to the axis of a chute and an inclination angle of the lever to a line passing through the axis of the bracket, being in parallel to the axis of the chute. The invention allows simplification of the practice of designing of the machines for shutting of the pig-iron tap holes of the blast furnaces for any casting yard.

EFFECT: the invention simplifies the practice of designing of the machines for shutting of the pig-iron tap holes of the blast furnaces for any casting yard.
