FIELD: furnaces; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a reverberatory furnace for aluminum scrap remelting. Furnace comprises a housing formed by refractory outer side, front and rear end walls, a storage bath and an inclined platform, limited by the hearth and walls, arch, two drain tap holes, a gas duct and a welded steel jacket consisting of a lower part and two upper parts fixed on the lower part, located above the bottom and an inclined platform. Inside the steel casing the furnace housing is installed, at that the furnace has a turning mechanism and rests on the reinforced concrete base. Accumulating bath and inclined platform are made of corundum blocks KS-95, laid on triple layer of asbestos cardboard and light-weight chamotte bricks ShL-0.6, partially side walls forming inclined platform, are made with corundum blocks KS-95. Steel jacket has heat insulation between it and each wall, consisting of triple layer of asbestos cardboard, wherein three-layer asbestos cardboard and heat-insulating mullite-siliciferous plates MKRP-340 are arranged on top of arch, besides, between housing under bottom and inclined platform and masonry from light-weight chamotte bricks ShL-0.6 there are three layers of asbestos cardboard, wherein furnace has in each side wall two medium-pressure twelve-mixing burners directed at an angle to inclined platform and at an angle to furnace axis, in the arch there are two double-row twenty-two-mixing burners directed at an angle to the bottom, at that the furnace has working and slag windows equipped with hydraulic drives for lifting and lowering of the gate, economizer, dust-and-gas cleaning system to achieve environmentally friendly process consisting of mixing chamber, smoke exhauster, four-section dust-and-dust cleaning unit.
EFFECT: providing high efficiency of the furnace, reduction of heat and loss losses and possibility of ecologically pure remelting of aluminum scrap.
