FIELD: furnaces.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a rotary melting furnace for processing non-ferrous metal wastes, particularly aluminum scrap. Furnace contains cylindrical housing, burner device, two loading holes, two tapholes for drainage of molten metal and taphole for slag drain, economizer. Furnace has a heat-insulating layer consisting of two layers of mullite-siliceous cardboard and a layer of chamotte light-weight, on which a layer of lining from corundum ramming material with crushed skull is stuffed. Besides, the furnace has two loading holes located in the front and rear end walls of the furnace, as the burner device there are two gas injection cylindrical 13-mixing burners fixed in covers closing loading holes. Each gas injection cylindrical 13-mixing burner has central mixer equipped with nozzle, ten peripheral mixers are made with ribs on inner surface at the end of each mixer, and two peripheral mixers are made without nozzles. Gas flue is made in every cover closing loading opening. Three tapholes are made in quick-replaceable taphole bricks, made from corundum stuffed mixture with metal frame. Furnace is designed to operate on natural and artificial traction with a dust-and-gas cleaning system, which includes two umbrellas, a system of gas ducts with supports, a mixing chamber, an exhauster, a six-section dust-gas cleaning unit.
EFFECT: low heat losses, increased efficiency and longer service life of the furnace.
