FIELD: antenna engineering; aircraft radars designed for airborne target location, single-pulse direction finding, and tracking, as well as terrain mapping.
SUBSTANCE: proposed aircraft radar antenna has fixed shaping mirror, fixed single-pulse feed, revolving reflecting mirror, and pattern-shaping waveguide channel connected to single-pulse feed; newly introduced in antenna is additional feed connected to pattern-shaping waveguide channel and made in the form of radiator array formed by open ends of rectangular waveguides having common narrow walls and one common horn; amplitude-phase distribution in additional-feed horn aperture is chosen for generating phase distribution of cubically quadrature form; additional feed is installed above fixed mirror focus; it is offset relative to focal plane of fixed mirror toward resting plane of antenna and turned down through 14 to 16 deg. relative to longitudinal axis of antenna.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities of antenna.
