FIELD: antenna engineering. SUBSTANCE: excitation source has reverse axial radiation antenna which is, essentially, exciter in the form of waveguide mounting dielectric probe one of whose ends terminates into shaped counter-reflector and other end is narrowed, as well as feeding device. Waveguide and dielectric probe of exciter are of square section whose area provides for excitation and propagation of waves of modes H10, H11 and E11; feeding device is made in the form of butt-end joint of square-section multimode waveguide whose size ensures excitation and propagation of H10, H11 and E11 wave over channel formed by sides of twin T-shaped bridge folded in E-plane; two other sides of bridge function as adding and subtracting inputs (outputs) of excitation source. Directivity pattern of various types can be shaped. Shading in reflector aperture is reduced which is essential in particular for multichannel and multipulse antennas.
